Peter Samwel, Chief Technology Officer of First Financial Network, oversees FFN’s technology team and all assets related to the design, implementation and usage of proprietary and COTS technology systems. This includes cloud infrastructure, software development and deployment pipelines, architectural designs of all applications, systems integrations and ensuring up-to-date compliance within FFN’s information security guidance and monitoring processes.

Peter was directly involved in the development of FFN’s Loan Sale Network™, FirstValue™, eStacker™, Investor Registration System (IRM) and Metrics™ systems. Notably, he is one of the inventors of the patented Constellation™ classification engine. With an extensive background in both technology and mathematical analytics, Peter was instrumental in the development and testing of FirstValue™.

Peter routinely collaborates with both technical and non-technical staff, clients and partners to ensure FFN’s technology stack is supporting its mission critical needs. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of systems integration, software architectures and design, programming, implementation, debugging and testing.
