Decades of Leadership in Loan Sales

1990

FFN Established

Bliss Morris founded First Financial Network, Inc. more than 30 years ago following the banking and energy crisis in Oklahoma. Through her entrepreneurial spirit and vision, she saw the opportunity to fill an industry niche and seized it. The fledgling company had many obstacles to overcome, namely, a market for these types of financial instruments barely existed and sellers did not know that these types of assets could be sold. Couple this with the fact that the industry was dominated largely by men twice her age – and one might abandon the idea. Since that time, the company has transacted the marketing and sale of billions of dollars in loans in 28 countries through several economic cycles and is recognized as a thought leader in the industry.

FFN Conducts National Loan Sales on Behalf of the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC)

FFN’s governmental asset sale skills were established and proven during its extensive financial advisory relationships with the RTC. The firm sold over 25,000 loans totaling approximately $2B during these sale initiatives and achieved the highest recovery rate (over 70% of UPB) of any RTC National Loan Auction ever conducted while executing RTC’s last sale, National Loan Auction VIII.
