Loan sales are conducted as portfolio sales where multiple loans are offered for sale or single loan transactions. Portfolio loan sales usually group loans together in pools for bidding purposes. These pools consist of loans that share similar characteristics. The factors that determine how pools are organized include the loan type, collateral, balance size, performance status, location and more.

Yes, First Financial Network has worked closely with the FDIC since 1989, and is one of a few loan sale advisors with whom the FDIC conducts its loan sales. The requirements to participate in a FDIC loan sale can be discussed with our loan sale team at your convenience.

First Financial does not typically charge a commission to loan buyers.

Most sellers do have established reserve pricing that is not made available to loan buyers. FFN works closely with its loan sellers to ensure that the reserve pricing is market-based.

FirstValue receives daily loan-to-value adjustment data as well as real-time market calibrations. The model has been validated and audited by the FDIC and is regularly utilized by several Federal Home Loan Banks.

Yes, FirstValue™ can value any loan type. Our team is here to support our clients with accurate valuation of your portfolios for due diligence, analysis, and reporting purposes.

No, FFN does not buy, service or arbitrage loans.

Fees are based on the purchase price not the portfolio balance.

Please note that vetting requirements for each sale may vary by seller; however, FFN does require any registered loan buyer to meet the minimum vetting requirements established by FFN in order to participate in a sale.  Any specific requirements established by a seller may be in addition to FFN’s minimum requirements.
